Amanda Bay
Communications Officer | Amanda brings a vast array of knowledge from the communications field to Firedog Communications and its client base. Amanda is a Broadcasting Television graduate from Confederation College and has worked as a Radio News Director, Radio Anchor, a Photojournalist, and a Television News Anchor during her career. While working in the news industry, Amanda covered the Municipal Government, Crime & Law, and First Nations beats. These roles required extensive research, understanding and appreciation of the issues and successes facing communities in Northwestern Ontario. Amanda has spent her career to date in her hometown of Thunder Bay Ontario. In her role at Firedog, Amanda travels extensively in the region developing and implementing strategic communications plans, strategies and materials for businesses, not for profit organizations and First Nations. |
